Step into the world of magic with Lucky Seven Games Magic Academy.
In this free event we will cover everything on how to play Magic: The Gathering. L7G Magic Academies will be held in 3 parts — covering everything from learning how to set up and play your very first game of Magic: The Gathering, to learning how to draft, and finally getting into your first game of Commander.

During this event all participating players will get a Free Welcome Deck. Players will get to choose between a variety of Welcome Decks. With the Release of Secrets of Strixhaven, welcome decks now come with a Reward Insert — either giving you a special event physical reward or 3 Secrets of Strixhaven packs in MTG Arena.

In this event, we will cover the set up and basics of Magic: The Gathering. After your basic tutorial, you'll participate in your first beginner magic tournament. We will teach you how to sign in to tournaments and how to participate in them, as well as basic rules for participating in events.

📅 May 24th at 4:00 PM — Magic Academy: Deck Building Part 1 - Drafting

Price: $15
1st Prize: 5 Packs

During this event all participating players will receive 3 packs to Draft. We will go over the basics of rules of Drafting and teach you how to deck build. For those that have always wanted to draft or those that struggle with drafting, this course will teach you how to optimize your draft picks and deck building for a more solid Draft experience.

All participants will run a full draft with 1st Place winning 5 packs of the drafted set.

📅 May 31st at 4:00 PM — Magic Academy: Deck Building Part 2 – Commander

Price: $25
Top 4 Prizing: Free Commander League Ticket
(Commander League Prize: Secrets of Strixhaven Play Booster Box)

During this event all participants will get to pick 1 of 5 starter Commander Decks. In this course you will learn how to set up and play Commander. We will go in depth on what Bracket systems are and how to better optimize your Commander Deck.

You will then participate in a point system Commander Tournament consisting of 2 rounds. Top 4 players will receive Free Commander League Tickets where you can win many prizes up to a Play Booster Box.
