Season 3 of our Commander League has finally arrived, and we couldn’t be more excited! Whether you’re a veteran returning from previous seasons, or a new player starting your first league, Lucky Seven presents a perfect place to play, compete, and connect with other players who enjoy the same playing format.
What is Commander League?
Commander is one of the most popular playstyles of the game Magic: The Gathering (“MTG”). The Commander format is made up of a 100 card deck with one legendary creature or planeswalker that serves as the deck's “Commander.” Commander is a format that typically consists of pods of 4 players.
Commander League at Lucky Seven takes the spirit of the game and adds a structured element with regular meetups, point tracking, raffle prices, and a season-long competition. It is the best mix of casual fun and exciting competition.
How Season 3 Works:
Each player will receive a League Binder that will have all the bonus points for the month as well as new recurring points that can be won in each game. At the end of every game, players will need to ask the store associate to mark up the points for their pod.
Players will only be able to play league games during the designated league days and may play up to 3 games per week. Make up Games will only be available in the last week of the Season.

There are 2 scheduled league nights: Sundays and Mondays from 6:30 pm until store closing time.

Deck must fall under Bracket 3:

Bracket 3, per MTG rules are decks “beyond the strength of an average precon deck” that have no mass land denial, no chaining extra turns, allow for late game 2-card infinite combos and allow up to 3 game changers

Game changers are cards that can shift the game’s outcome in a dramatic way in favor of the player, essentially giving them a huge advantage in some way. Game Changer list can be found here and infographic below:

Decklist must be submitted via Archidekt and list must be shared with Lucky Seven Games for approval

No proxies or playtest cards.
Pod Rotation:

In order to promote comradery and keeping the games fresh, pods must rotate at least one player per game

Pods must consist of 4 players. Only League Players can Participate in League Pods.

End of the Season Prizes
At the end of the season, the overall Top 4 players will receive prizes, with the prize pool based on the total number of league participants.
